Riva Surya Bangkok Hotel Reviews

Our stay at Riva Surya Bangkok on 14 May was excellent. We stayed in a River View Balcony Room and were extremely satisfied with the outstanding staff service, great location, and surrounding environment. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Bangkok. A special note regarding booking platforms — next time I will book directly through the hotel’s official website instead of Agoda. Before departure, I booked a river view room via Agoda, but upon check-in the hotel informed us that the agent had only reserved a city view room. When I contacted Agoda online, they requested an extra charge to change the room type. The hotel staff explained that this was not the first time such an issue had happened with Agoda bookings, and that the hotel no longer has a direct partnership with Agoda. In the end, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a river view room free of charge to make up for the inconvenience and stress caused. We truly appreciate the hotel’s sincere arrangement.

This hotel is just superbly delightful with a fabulous location overlooking the busy river Chao Phraya, very conveniently close to the major tourist attractions on either side of the river. We cannot speak more highly about the most attentive and helpful staff. The lovely rooms with balconies overlooking the river were a great bonus; as were the wonderful pool and the impressive restaurant overlooking the river and it's inspiring menu. We loved our stay and will always stay here when we return to Bangkok. Well done Riva Surya, you deserve 10/10.

Wonderful services, clean and fresh rooms with a great style. The facilities are modern and the local food in the restaurants is excellent.
